About the Doctors
Stuart A. Mozlin, D.M.D.
Stuart Mozlin, D.M.D., co-owner and partner of Metuchen Dental Group, has been in practice since 1977. A native of Bronx, NY, Dr. Mozlin received his Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York in Albany. In 1976, he earned his degree in Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston and completed his general practice residency at Englewood Hospital the next year. His specialty is general and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Mozlin is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Middlesex County Dental Society and the OKU Dental Honor Society. Because he is dedicated to staying abreast of the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques, Dr. Mozlin completed over 1000 hours of continuing education.
To give back to his community, Dr. Mozlin works with state and national foundations to donate his dental services to the handicapped. He and his family enjoy hiking and bicycle riding.
Alan S. Kaplan, D.D.S.
Alan Kaplan, D.D.S., co-owner and partner of Metuchen Dental Group, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. He earned his degree in Dental Surgery at Georgetown University School for Dental Medicine prior to completing his general practice residency at JFK Hospital in Edison, NJ, in 1988. His specialty is general and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Kaplan is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association and Middlesex County Dental Society. As part of Dr. Kaplan’s continuing education, he completed a two-year post-graduate program in periodontal diagnosis and treatment at Albert Einstein University Hospital in New York. He also takes advanced education classes in various areas of dentistry at the Jersey Shore Medical Center.
In his spare time, Dr. Kaplan volunteers his services to recent Russian immigrants.
